Administration

After the Will is probated and Letters Testamentary are issued, the Estate then must be Administered. The following steps are needed to administer:

  1. Obtain Tax ID and open an Estate Account.
  2. The personal representative (Executor) contacts beneficiaries and debtors.
  3. Property appraisal to determine the estate's value.
  4. Valid debts are paid and taxes are determined.
  5. Informal Accounting is prepared.
  6. Release & Refunding Bond is prepared.
  7. Assets are distributed to beneficiaries.
  8. The estate is closed.

Unclaimed Funds and Property

We are seasoned at retrieving or finding assets that may have been confiscated or obtained by the State.
